My Experience

Having completed a music, drama and psychology degree (the minute you meet me, this will be obvious!) then ventured into marketing, I found the creativity and fast moving pace really suited my skills and I began my career at First Direct which proved to be a fantastic foundation in positive employeeship and working in a fun and fully engaged environment. Following several significant changes in the business, managers were asked to deliver supportive and participative sessions to encourage discussion and explanation to maintain workforce morale. My taste for people development had begun and I switched to HR at speed.

I then moved to an international IT organisation, where I headed an L&D team before joining TMI in 2003. Since then, I’ve worked in companies across many industries, specialising in leadership, customer management, HR consultancy, mentoring, recruitment and jumped into whatever clients need – I particularly loved the fact that no project, day or client are the same. My clients have included Unilever, DHL, Barclays, NHS Trusts, City Councils, Ferrari and educational institutions.

I’m also known for a highly energetic presentation style and a wicked sense of humour. I’m extremely proud to have read ‘She’s like Victoria Wood!’

What I do at TMI

I’ve designed and delivered on many projects with TMI and worked with clients including Virgin Atlantic, Marks and Spencer, Toyota and Eurostar. Within TMI, I’ve specialised in leadership and customer branding projects and thoroughly enjoyed working as part of the TMI team – there’s something very special about that which I know clients really feel the buzz from. The creativity, motivation and drive bounce off the walls.

What do I bring to Clients

Like all of the TMI team, I hope that clients feel they get their money’s worth from me. I bring knowledge from many industries, as well as experience covering a wide scope of learning and development but I’m also known for a highly energetic presentation style and a wicked sense of humour. I’m extremely proud to have read ‘She’s like Victoria Wood!’ on more that one workshop evaluation form.

When I'm not working

I live in rural Warwickshire with my husband and an overly-spoilt Tibetan Terrier. We love travelling and doing places up so I expect we won’t be here long. Luckily my clients are always dotted everywhere so my location can be sublimely flexible.
