Talent Exchange

TMI’s Talent Exchange is a two-week development opportunity for an organisation’s high potential managers. Talent Exchange is made up of cohorts of 6 non-competing organisations across a range of industry sectors. Each organisation is represented by 3 high-calibre leaders of the future. These 3 potential leaders are given the opportunity to work on a mutually-agreed 2-week strategic project in one of the cohort organisations. Participants will have the opportunity to spend part of their two weeks on-site at their “host” organisation. Managers are given a live and real project by their host organisation with tight timelines, often conflicting priorities and the need to manage the needs and views of multiple stakeholders – all without the “safety net” of their established day-to-day network.

We can tailor the length of these Exchanges so that they are shorter or longer than the standard two-week model; we can include a stint in more than one organisation and we can aim it at just one of your high-potential managers or a whole team of fast-trackers.  What is consistent is that throughout the Exchange, the delegate will be assessed and supported by a TMI Executive Coach. Our experienced coaches have all worked in senior positions– usually director-level.

At the end of the period, TMI will produce an individual feedback report that measures the delegate’s demonstrated abilities across 8 Talent Exchange Leadership Capabilities.  If more than one delegate takes part from your organisation, you will also be able to see a composite picture of the strengths and development areas of your leaders of the future.
