My Experience
Having got a Music & Psychology Degree (purely chosen through love and not practicality) under my belt, I started work at First Direct Bank in Marketing. They prided themselves on most customers joining through recommendation and therefore customer service levels were/are extremely high. For me, it set the benchmark – all organisations needed to concentrate on their people and their customers.
Since then I’ve worked in People Development and HR supporting the belief that a company is only ever as good as its people. I’ve loved working with airlines, retailers, IT service providers and banks – names including BA, Virgin, Marks and Spencer, BT and Toyota.
What I do at TMI
I’ve been at TMI for 7 years now and have been involved in the research, design and delivery of many projects. I’ve loved the teamwork and creativity of a buoyant group of people and it’s enabled me to develop skills in internal branding and culture.
My projects have included brand awareness with Toyota, working within values with BT and increasing customer service levels for Superquinn.
What do I bring to Clients
Having been on the receiving end of TMI, I bring the client perspective. I’m experienced in several industries and therefore can assist with design but I particularly love presenting.
I’m a high energy, high impact presenter who can explain, motivate, cajole, soothe, manage and amuse all sizes of audience. I (weirdly) absolutely love being in front of people and can therefore pack a punch in getting the point across.
When I’m not working...
For me it’s one big kitchen-party – I love socialising. Whether it’s with family (we practically have the Olympics with Christmas games), friends (festivals, village pub) or even Guide Dogs – they come and spend a holiday with me from time to time. Life’s good.
